The Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) is a 20+year strategic guide for transportation investments throughout the Metropolitan Planning Area here in Howard County, per 23 CFR §450.324(a). The plan identifies the location, size, and type of improvements in transportation infrastructure and services that can be afforded in Kokomo and Howard County. It is a multimodal plan, meaning it includes projects for highways, sidewalks, trails, airports, buses and other public transportation.
